Rishi Sunak Trailing UK PM Hopeful Liz Truss By 32 Points, Shows Poll
Conservative leadership UK Harapan Liz Truss has a 32 -point advantage over his rival in a race to become a prime minister, according to a poll by Sky News issued Thursday.
Youugov’s survey of the Tory Party member for broadcasters found 66 percent of the Foreign Minister, while 34 percent returned former Finance Minister Rishi Sung.Damage only includes those who have chosen or planned.
Because conservative currently has a majority in the British parliament, both Truss or Suna will be the prime minister of the state when the current leader Boris Johnson goes early next month.
The poll reported that more than half (57 percent) had voted their votes ahead of the September 2 ballot.More than a quarter of those who still intend to vote say they have not decided who should come back.
The poll shows that Slah’s support has risen two percent since the same poll two weeks ago, but “an additional increase … it won’t be enough to save the contest for him,” said Sky News.
Two leadership competitors have carried out fierce battles for the past few weeks, featuring briefings that are often hostile and counter-murder by their camps.
Underline Tory Grasroots’ rift with the Parliamentary Party, the poll found that if Johnson was in the leadership contest, he would still win, with 46 percent said they would vote.
He announced that he would stop as a party leader who was in power early this summer after the resignation of Mass among cabinet members and members of parliament who were increasingly frustrated by leadership hit by the scandal.
Youugov’s poll was carried out among 1,089 out of around 200,000 Tory Party members. The winners will be announced on September 5 and Victor will be responsible for the next day.
The candidates will hold a dozen crowd during the summer contest in the city of Manchester northern on Friday night.
