From January 23 to January 25, this year the Taliban delegation was led by the Taliban Foreign Minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi, paid an official visit to the Norwegian capital at the royal invitation, Sputnik reported.

Delegates met with representatives and special envoys from the US, EU, France, Germany, Italy, Norway and England.

Muttaqi described the visit succeeded, and this delegation would like to thank the Norwegian government because of his hospitality and contribution to strengthening trust.

Qatar and Turkey seek the mandate to manage Kabul airport, destroyed during the chaotic mass evacuation and withdrawing foreign troops last year after the Taliban came to power. Radical movements have agreed to receive technical assistance from Qatar and Turkey but they want to be responsible for airport management. Talks have continued since August, Sputnik reported.
