Two main demands are the imposition of sharia laws in Pakistan and the release of members of TTP from Pakistani prison. IFFRAS has stated that Imran Khan’s Prime Minister, in December 2021, ordered the release of TTP cadres who were on the white and gray list of Pakistani administration.
TTP expressed his anger when Pakistani troops conducted a raid on Dera Ismail Khan, Lakki Marwat, SWAT, Steel, Swabi and North Waziristan and TTP members were also detained and killed in the process.
While Pakistan, on the story of the old relationship with the Taliban Afghanistan, assuming that TTP will not trigger malicious activities against Islamabad, the truth is that the Taliban cannot take action to limit TTP – the ideological twin is stated.
