Ten thousand civilians remained in the eastern city of Severodonetsk when heavy battles continued, according to the Mayor of the region.
Governor of Luhanansk said Russian troops controlled most of Severodonetsk, the city where the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Donbas’s fate was being decided.

Moscow troops focused their firing power in an important industrial center strategically as part of an effort to capture a number of East Ukraine.
