Afghan businessmen ask Taliban to give Kabul airport contract to UAE

AAccording to the dealers, over Afghans are settled there and have millions of bones invested in the UAE, the report said.

Last Thursday, Qatari and Turkish officers visited Kabul to bandy the operation of the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul with Islamic Emirate officers.

“This contract is important for the Afghans who are living then. This contract should be given to theUAE.However, the dealers will face serious problems,” said Obaidullah Sadar Khail, If the breakouts between Kabul-UAE are halted.

Dealers said that around 10 breakouts a day were being operated between Afghanistan and the UAE before the fall of the former government.

“We call on the Islamic Emirate to give the operation of the airfields to the UAE as this will help develop the country,” said Farid Ruhani, a dealer, the report said.

But some former members of the Afghanistan Aviation Authority gave a different opinion.

“The transnational morals and other measures should be observed so that Afghanistan can give good air aeronautics services and grease profit,” said Imam Mohammad Wrimach, the formAAZer deputy minister of transport.

Before, the Ministry of Transportation said that it hadn’t reached an agreement with any company to run the Kabul field.

“Our specialized platoon had a meeting with them (Qatari and Turkish delegates). The meetings will continue until we reach a good agreement,” said Imamuddin Ahmadi, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Transportation, the report added.
