A 21 -year -old British tourist was killed in Greece after being hit by a blades helicopter, a report in Metro based in England said. The man, who has not been identified, was killed in a terrible incident after getting out of the plane at a private airport with three other tourists while on vacation. The incident occurred at 18:20 on July 25, the outlet said and the police were immediately rushed to that place. But the man suffered a sad injury and died on the spot, Metro said in his report.

Young tourists walk behind the Bell 407 helicopter while the engine is still engaged and does not know that the propeller is still spinning. He was trapped by a helicopter tail rotor, said independently.

The man’s parents also headed to the same place after a flight from Mykonos. However, pilot Bell 407 radio to their helicopter who told them about the incident, said the outlet further.

The second helicopter pilot then turned to Athena International Airport to prevent the man’s parents to watch the accident.

Investigations have been launched and helicopter pilots that killed tourists and two land technicians have been arrested, said Independent.

Local media reports say that tourists have returned from Mykonos and plans to travel to Athena International Airport, to fly back to England.

We talked about tragedies – a tragedy that has never happened before – a tragedy that should never have happened,” a police officer was quoted as saying by Metro.
